August Scrap Map Challenge at Creative Craft World
It’s time for a new monthly challenge for August at the Creative Craft World blog. Sue has provided us with a fab sketch to work from as usual – you can take a look at what the rest of the design team came up with here, and don’t forget to link us to your scrapbook page if you use the sketch for a chance to win.
I picked this picture that I had taken with my iPhone and gave it an Instagram treatment before emailing it to myself and printing out (sounds long winded but it really isn’t!)
I went for a random selection of papers – the aqua blue and the orangy yellow for a summer feel and the brown to tie in with the photo. I added a die cut from the Silhouette store for the title and some journalling which reads as follows…
We visited Newquay Zoo on what was probably the hottest day of the year so far. You were miserable in the heat and you only cheered up when we had lunch under the shade of a big umbrella and you got to wear Mummy’s sunglasses!
I have just realised that I have completely forgotten to add the date so will probably pop that on there now. I used my Promarkers to colour the title as I couldn’t find any suitable card stock, think it worked quite well!
