One of my favourite stamp sets from the last Lawn Fawn release was this collection of baking related images. Particularly fitting for me what with the cupcakes and all! I stamped some of the images on to Crafters Companion Neenah Solar White cardstock and then coloured them with Copics. I also used the matching dies to cut them out and make a little cupcake tower on top of the cake stand. The happy birthday die cut is from Spellbinders, and I cut it from white cardstock and then used my Copics to make an ombre effect.
Paper: Lawn Fawn Beachside
Stamps: Lawn Fawn Baked With Love
Dies: Lawn Fawn, Spellbinders, Memory Box
Other: Copic Markers
I went for a black and white comic book feel for this card – I used Copics to colour the Tiny Heroes in shades of grey. And it’s not just a birthday card, it’s a Super Duper Birthday Card! I also thought this might work for the Daring Cardmakers latest theme of science fiction what with all the superheroes…
April and May seem to have passed me by a little, but I have finally managed to take a few pictures of some recent cards so I can share them on here. Here’s the first of the bunch, a little birthday card using Lawn Fawn’s Happy Trails stamps and matching dies, Lawn Fawn Speech Bubble, Grassy Border and Hillside dies. The sentiment is a die from Spellbinders and the papers are from Lawn Fawns’s Let’s Polka! 6×6 pad. Thanks for looking!
Some more distress ink water colouring today using the sweet little bunny and bear from Carnival Cupcakes. I paired a sentiment from Surprise Sentiments with a stamp from an older Hero Arts set to come up with the greeting you can see on here.
Thanks for visiting!
Another Tiny Hero card to share with you today – I used the circle dies from the Mama Elephant Sew Fancy Creative Cuts, and the sentiment stamps are from the Surprise Sentiments set.

I’ve had these lovely stamps for a while now but hadn’t really used them much. I splashed out on the matching dies a couple of weeks ago which has definitely helped! I was inspired by Kristina Werners lovely watercolouring of the bunny and the bear on this card so I thought I would have a go myself with my distress inks. I was really pleased with the result, I am sure that I will be using that technique more in the future. I used paper from Lawn Fawn’s Let’s Polka 6 inch pad and dies from Lawn Fawn and Spellbinders.

I love these cute little lovely dovey whales from Lawn Fawn! I did some Copic colouring on them and then hand cut them out, I used the smaller Stitched Party Banner for the background, and then used the stitched scallop borders to create the waves by using them upside down.
The paper is from the Lets Polka 6×6 pad, and I used a little bit of silver Lawn Trimmings twine at the top of the banner. I thought it was a perfect opportunity to use some of these lovely iridescent blue sequins for the sea so I may have gone a bit over board there!
Along with the Tiny Heroes stamps from Mama Elephant I also ordered the Surprise Sentiments stamps. Love the fonts that these stamps use, particularly the sketchy effect on some of the words. I did a little stamp surgery on this one and cut off the line “to you dear friend” from the bottom of the Happy Birthday and replaced it with “you’re dino-mite” from the Lawn Fawn Critters From The Past set so it fitted in better with my lovely blue dino from the same set. I used the tree and the rocks from the set to create a bit of a scene and then drew in some grass with a black fine liner and coloured with Copics.
I also used the stitched rectangles dies and the Lets Polka 6×6 paper pad from Lawn Fawn.
Thanks for stopping by!
I love this time of year when all the new releases start arriving after the January CHA expo. The first ones I had my eye on were these Tiny Heroes stamps from Mama Elephant. I love the teeny superheroes and their animal sidekicks!
I used my new Copic Ciao’s that I got for Christmas to colour them – it has taken me a while to get used to the Copics and to manage to colour anything without the pens bleeding / feathering over the outline of the stamps. A light touch is definitely needed!
I also used some of the new dies from Mama Elephant, the Sew Fancy creative cuts to cut the circles. Love the way that you get the dots on the inside and the outside of the cut line.
I paired the Paper Smooches Christmas Words 2 Seasons Greetings die with some Christmas paper from Basic Grey here. Not sure where my snowflake dies are from, they might be Marianne dies but they are a couple of years old so I wouldn’t like to swear to it!
