CCW Christmas Countdown – Day 22
Today’s countdown project is these lovely altered letters from K at K’s Crafty Corner - pop over and have a look how she made them!
Christmas Cards
Well it’s all go in the Christmas card production line here! Here’s another with non traditional colours (although to be honest I think pink is becoming a Christmas colour these days!). I used some papers from last year, however these were just hanging around loose in my stash and I am not entirely sure what they are! Anybody recognise them?
I also used my Tim Holtz paper rosette die, a Marianne designs snowflake die, Nestabilities (Labels 14, Labels 4, Ribbon Banners) and a sentiment stamp from Waltzingmouse Seasonal Remedies set.
My husband thinks it’s a tad gaudy (what he actually said was that it looked like a pixie had thrown up on it) but I like glitter at Christmas!
52 Card Challenge – Week 41
The prompts for the 52 Card Challenge this week were Vintage, Gingham and Home. I’ve been waiting for an excuse to use this chair die cut shape from the Silhouette store and this prompt seemed good enough! It’s called an antique chair, so I’m classing that as vintage, and what could be more homelike than a nice chair (not to mention the patterned paper I used specifically because it reminded me of wallpaper! ). Sadly I fell at the last hurdle, not a scrap of anything gingham-ey to be found. And yes, I definitely just made that word up
Creative Craft World – Card Challenge
Today’s challenge at the CCW Challenge Blog is “Button It!”
I used a little digi from Robyn’s Fetish, this weeks sponsor. Hop over to the challenge blog to see what the rest of the DT came up with!

52 Cards Challenge WK 7
Well, it’s a bit later than normal but here’s my card for the challenge this week. The prompts were, purple, monochrome and thanks, as you can see I didn’t manage all three! I used a die cut from the Silhouette shop and cut it out on my Robo in two shades of pink and then layered it up to give a bit of depth. I added some dots with my white pen (it’s a Uniball Signo if you are interested!) and a couple of sparkly gems, and then I stamped the Thank You sentiment with some grey ink and added some swirls with some Basic Grey stamps. The whole thing then got a coating of Cosmic Shimmer to make it all shiny, but you can’t really see that on the photo…
Another Birthday…
I broke out the Cosmo Cricket Delovely for this one – I absolutely love the colours in this range of paper and am hoarding the stash I have left! I used one of my new Lacey Circles nestabilities, layered up a few Prima blossoms and a butterfly, then I used the Craft Robo to cut out the leaves and the banner. I just used a little bit of Glossy Accents to attach the leaves at the bottom so they give the card a bit more depth.
Thanks!
I wish I had been able to photograph this card in daylight as this picture just doesn’t do it justice! I used some Cosmo Cricket patterned paper (Earth Love), my nestabilities, Waltzingmouse stamps, Hero Art stamps, and a pretty little tree cut on my Robo from a Silhouette design. I cut the tree twice and layered the light on top of the dark one, just offsetting it slightly, and then embellished it with lots of lovely blingy pearls. And would you believe the ribbon is actually green, even though it looks brown in the picture?
